Garfield Township Fire Department is a department of Garfield Township. The function of the Fire Department is to protect the lives and property of our community. The Fire Department is owned and operated by the Garfield Township Fire Department and is directed by the Fire Chief. The department is staffed by people who are willing to dedicate themselves to the job. Furthermore, the Garfield Township Fire Department adopts the following beliefts; “when called, we assume all lives and property can be saved”. To that end, The Garfield Township Fire Department profess that; “We will risk our lives in a safe and calculated manner for savable lives and property. We will not risk our lives at all for lives and property that are already lost”.
