NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED ROAD MILLAGE
The Garfield Township Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, June 22, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at the Garfield Township Hall, 9348 Terry Street, Clare County, Michigan, to consider the levy of a road millage.
The purpose of this millage is to fund the construction, maintenance, and improvement of township roads. The proposed road millage rate to support road maintenance and improvements in Garfield Township is one (1) mill. Resolution 2026-6 has been approved by the Garfield Township Board.
A copy of the proposed budget and information regarding the proposed millage is available for public inspection at the Township Clerk’s Office during regular business hours or by appointment.

NOTICE OF ANNUAL BUDGET HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Garfield Township Board will hold a public hearing on the proposed township budget including the fire department millage and the transfer station costs for the fiscal year 2026-2027. The hearing will take place at the Garfield Township Hall, 9348 Terry Street, Lake, Michigan, 48632, on Monday, June 22, 2026 at 6:30 pm.
A copy of the proposed budget may be reviewed at the Garfield Township office or by contacting the Clerk.
