Fire Chief Kevin Tubbs has proudly served the community as Chief since 2006 and has been with the department since 1999. A lifelong Lake resident, Kevin has remained deeply involved in the community. His parents owned and operated Tubbs Grocery, a familiar and valued local business. Within the fire department, Kevin initiated the firefighter agility test to promote proficiency and developed the department’s engineer program. He currently serves on multiple boards and committees throughout the county, representing Garfield Township, and is a founding member of the Paula Pirnstill Health Fair, an annual community health fair held in Farwell. Kevin owns and operates Tubbs Landscaping & Waterfront Services, LLC for over 30 years.
